Who
is Advocare LTC Advisors? Our roots are in Care Management -
we
are care experts. Our RN Care Managers are the
"nurse in
the family" putting all the pieces together to care for elderly or
chronically ill loved ones. Many of our clients came to us
in crisis mode after noticing distinct changes with Dad or
Mom, or
receiving an unexpected medical diagnosis.
Most clients were surprised to find out that government programs pay
for only a small portion of the cost of care. We
watched as
sons & daughters, husbands & wifes moved into shock,
reaction,
and dispair mode as they dealt with a financial nightmare - on top of
trying to sort out complex medical issues.
It became clear that there was a huge financial gap in caring for the
elder or chronically ill - which many family members unfortunately
discovered only after they were in the midst of dealing with
challenging care issues.
Some of our clients were
lucky enough to have purchased a Long Term Care insurance policy.
As we examined these policies to assist them in providing care, we
began to notice that long term care policies differed dramatically in
the amount and type of care that was covered. We also found
that
there was an amazing array of features, benefits, and complicated
clauses among Long Term Care policies.
We knew that we could assist families to look ahead and make better
decisions on planning for care later in life. It was out of
our
philosophy of client advocacy that Advocare's Long Term Care Division
was born.
Our focus is not to "sell" anyone a long term care policy. If

believe the need speaks for itself.
